This is a great start for our first 2014 Use Your Stash Blog Hop- This month we are digging into our stash and using up that paper! Anyone who has been scrapbooking for some time most likely has their fair share of paper. Some have a more serious case of stashing than others (I was looking through my stash the other day wondering if it would even be possible to use it all up!).
This hop is a circle; if you have just started simply continue until you make your way back here; if you have already started, you should be coming from Joy McHargue.
I have to be honest and say I really didn’t dig very far into my stash for this one. I am, however, working at using up my stash. I am trying to use up the papers from 2013 before the new ones show up and they are forgotten. This layout is a perfect example of how you can re-use the WOTG stamp sets for many more future layouts with different paper packets.
I don’t have much of a system yet for my patterned papers (I need to work on that and will blog about it when I do) but what you may be interested in is how I sort my cardstock. I have found that it is a great solution to choose one brand of cardstock and stick with it (for me that is CTMH). In using the same colors I have become familiar with them and it makes choosing colors and scrapbooking in general faster. You can see more in THIS POST about how I have organized my scraps and now I actually use them!
Now continue with the hop and visit Judy Faye Garner next!
