New from CTMH are Memory Protector Flip Flaps. If you have more pictures than you can ever fit on your scrapbook page you are going to love these. I typically have about 3 photos per page or sometimes a one-page layout with one photo so this isn’t usually a problem for me. However, we recently came back from vacation and I always take a ton of photos. Flip flaps are not only an easy way to add more photos and/or journaling to your layouts but they also add a fun interactive element. To use a flip flap simply insert photos, fold flap, and attach to your page protector with the adhesive strip.  You can have it flip up or to the side.  I used them in both directions on my layout.

This layout was inspired by Helen’s Scrapbook Challenge at Hooked on Stamping. I enjoy her website and love great challenges.  Here is the result:

Products used are all CTMH: Cherish, Moon Doggie papers, Extreme Happiness stamp set, Cranberry and Sunflower ink, Journey Journaling Spots, and Memory Protectors Flip Flaps.

I guess this would be due to a slow camera but I thought this picture was pretty neat.  She’s moving so fast after lighting the firework that she has become a blur.  Supplies used: CTMH Let’s Get Together paper and cardstock (Colonial White, Cranberry, and Buttercup), other embellishments unknown.  I used cranberry ink on the grungeboard elements.  Layout inspired by Imagine idea book by CTMH.

It’s here again!  A new Stamp of the Month by Close to My Heart and with it comes a new Blog Hop.

July’s Stamp of the Month is You’ve Got Flair, a set of 8 stamps.  This month we have 43 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs.  To ‘hop’ along simply click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!  If you get lost or stuck along the way, there is a complete list at the end of this post.  Here we go:

I used a sketch out of Reflections as my inspiration for this page.  I stamped the images with Cocoa ink, colored with matching markers, and cut out.  I stamped the Love Flourishes stamps in Sweet Leaf ink and added the flowers on top with 3-D Foam Tape.  Rhinestones were added to the flower centers.  I highly recommend this stamp set with the Magic Moments paper, they work beautifully together!

Here are some more Disney pages from my WDW book.  Papers and embellishments are things from my stash that I have collected over the years, many are EK Success.  The last layout of Animal Kingdom photos uses Magic Moments papers by CTMH.  (You can click on a layout to enlarge and see more detail.)

We just made it back from Disneyland last weekend and before we left I was determined to finish my book from our last vacation to Walt Disney World in (gulp) 2005!  Alas, it is finished and here they are.  Be on the lookout for new layouts from our recent trip to Disneyland!

I found it was easiest and quickest for this project to use a set of coordinating papers for most of the pages.  You can see how I did that below.  The paper is a retired CTMH paper pack.
