Clementine Workshop on the Go Kit

Cryin' Cousins Layout by Wendy Kessler

These are my layouts from the Clementine Workshop on the Go Kit.  I did them a little different than the kit instructions.  I skipped the crumple technique and cut my brown paper pieces 2×6 and used the border stamp with Saddle ink to create a light pattern and a border/box for the stamped phrase.  Instead of stamping the border, I used the zip strips.  On the left page, I cut the top blue strip to 6 inches and adjusted the papers so that this opening was 6 x 8 to fit two 4×6 photos instead of a 5×7.  Then on the right page, I figured I could add photos to fit, most likely a 4×6 and 4×4.  I skipped the stamping on the photos because they are darker and it wouldn’t show up.  I also skipped the sanding just because I was being lazy but I did ink the edges of all the papers (not my photos) because I really like that look and I don’t care for the solid cardstock background.

These are pictures of my daughter with her twin cousins.  The twins are 6 weeks old here and Miranda just turned one.  It was so funny that she didn’t seem to mind their crying at all and the stamp phrase “Mama said there would be days like this!” was perfect for this layout.

Below is the additional layout.  I used it for two one-page layouts instead of one double.  I added a diecut to the first page using the Cricut Artiste Collection and Dimensional Element Numbers inked with Twilight ink using sponge daubers.
