The pictures in this layout are from when we visited the Japanese Garden at Balboa Park in San Diego.  All products used are CTMH: Extreme Happiness stamp set, Moon Doggie paper packet, Journey Journaling Spots, Chocolate ribbon, Chocolate My Legacy Writer marker, and Cranberry, Olive, & Goldrush inks.  I ended up liking this set of paper/stamps more than I thought I would.

It’s a gloomy day here in the midwest so we are inside making cards.  My daughter said “watermelon” so I used that as inspiration for this card (watermelon colors) and it worked!  Patterned paper is KI Memories, all other products were out of my scrap box.

Card Patterns Sketch #24
Simon Says: Summer Fruits

Well, it was back to scrapbooking today.  This picture was taken at Ariel’s Grotto in Disneyland last month.  We all had a great time.  It is spendy but I would recommend it. Different princesses come to each table to chat, sign autographs, and take pictures.  The food was quite good as well.  Our favorite was probably the dessert.  I enjoyed the healthy choices and fresh produce (sure beats $6 hotdogs!).  Definately get priority seating.

For this layout I used the sketch below as a guide.  The 3D stickers were added on top of other images on the paper to add more dimension.  I don’t know how to explain these Disney stickers by EK Success but you can see that they don’t photograph well due to their shine.  I found them in the clearance section today at Target!  I figured this would be a good way to use a bunch of my flowers – I love them and just can’t get enough!  Good thing I have girls!  My first choice for the centers would have been brads but this was also a way to use up some of the many eyelets that I’ve been collecting. 🙂

Products used: Iced Got Flowers by Prima, eyelets from my stash, Making Memories vellum tag, pink rubon letters Lulu font by American Crafts, 3D stickers by EK Success, unknown Disney paper and adhesive felt ribbon.

Challenge: from Scrapper’s Block Challenge #7.

(This is my second post for today so please scroll down to see more.)

Here’s a layout from our recent Disneyland vacation.  It is so much fun shopping at the World of Disney store.  The “Favorite” title is cut from the Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge.  All other products are Hot Off the Press.

I used this sketch from the Friday ScrapSketch Challenge:

This card turned out very simple but I like that about it.  I had fun stamping with this set. There are three stamps to the flower so there are lots of stamping possibilities. Directions for stamping the flower: 1. Ink with Desert Sand ink and stamp on scrap paper (to remove a layer of the ink). 2. Without cleaning, use a foamtool to ink the edges of the flower with Cranberry ink.  3. Then stamp the flower on your paper. 4. Using second generation stamping and Sunflower ink, stamp the center of the flower. 5. For the final piece I inked in Sunflower and stamped once to remove some of the ink. 6. As done previously, I used a foam tool to apply Desert Sand ink to the tip.  7. Attach to card with 3D foam tape.

All products used are CTMH: Extreme Happiness stamp set and Moon Doggie papers  This card was inspired by a sketch at Inkspirations by Makeesha Byl.
