Every Thank You (Jan SOTM) Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring the Every Thank You stamp set, which is the January 2021 stamp of the month . Orange is not my favorite color by any means but I really like this card. I just can’t get enough of the background thin cuts – they make beautiful cards in such little time! Here I used the holographic paper as the base. For the center, I cut the background die twice and just cut out the middle (where the sentiment is stamped) to allow the shimmer trim to go underneath and across the card.
Tips: (1) I’ve tried both Liquid Glass and Mono Liquid Glue with the background thin cuts and both work well. (2) They are also pretty equal when using the holographic paper, except that you will want to set something on the card until it dries for it to hold. (3) Archival Black Ink is a great ink choice when stamping on darker paper!

Products used are all Close to My Heart: Every Thank You stamp set (Jan 2021 SOTM), Paprika Cardstock, Olive Branches Background Thin Cut, Sunbeam Holographic Paper, Archival Black Ink, Gold Shimmer Trim, and Golden Rod Stickles.

Here are some more pictures of the exact same card at different angles in the light to show just how reflective it is and how it changes colors. Because it is so reflective it can make your eyes a bit buggy when adding the stickles. 😵 😂
