Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop!  This month we are highlighting the masking technique. This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.  If you are coming from Michelle Johns’ Blog, you are on the right track!

All supplies are Close to My Heart: Documented – Cardmaking stamp set, White Cards & Envelopes, Memento Ink, Love Right Now stamp set, Artistry Cricut Collection, White Daisy Cardstock, and ShinHan Markers.

I will be honest in saying that I do not care for masking at all and it’s a technique that I avoid. I am happy with how this card turned out though. After coloring the flowers, I backed that side of the card with White Daisy Cardstock to hide where it went through. Then I cut around the flowers to create an open front card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto Marciava Warrell’s Blog where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!
