May 2011 CTMH Blog Hop – Buttons
Welcome to yet another Close to My Heart Blog Hop.  This month we are featuring buttons.  CTMH has many new button shapes that are absolutely adorable!
The hop forms a circle so if you are starting here, simply continue until you make your way back.  If you are coming from Nikka’s blog you are on the right track.
Supplies used are all CTMH: Cherry-O Paper Pack, Love Letter Rub-ons, Colonial White Grosgrain Ribbon, and Buttons-Pink Assortment.
As you can see from the supply list, this was a very simple page.  The scattering of buttons draws attention to the title.  The idea came to me in my sleep – just drop a handful of buttons and let them be.  This turned out to work well, giving a greater sense of randomness.  The button at the top of the page with the ribbon is strategically placed to cover up a person in the background of the photo.
Now hop on over to Tracy’s blog!
If you get lost along the way, see the previous post for a list of all the participants.
Ooh, I love the randomness of the scattered buttons around the title! Great layout! The button at the top looks good too; I would never have known that it was a cover up.
I love this layout Wendy! The paper looks great with the pictures and the buttons reminded me of seashells…they really add something to this page. I love how you “bleeped” out the person with the button…very creative!
Great layout. I really like the randomness of the buttons and how the blue paper looks like water…would have never thunk it. Aren’t buttons great for covering up stuff you don’t want seen? I did the same thing once covering up somethin’ somethin’ in pictures my friend excitedly took seconds after my son was born. There’s just some things no one in this world really needs to see. 🙂
love how the buttons kinda resemble bubbles
What a darling layout! LOVE all the buttons !
Wendy,
Great idea to use lots of pretty buttons. Love your layout!
