Welcome back to my blog in case you tried within the last day and were unable to bring it up. It has been technically difficulties beyond my control and I am hoping things are back to normal. Here is what I have had waiting for you:

Products used are all CTMH: Caboodle Workshop on the Go Basic Kit (includes Caboodle Level 2 Paper Packet, stamp set, and Dimensional Elements – Frames), Colonial White cardstock, Friendship Alphabet Large stamp set, Friendship Alphabet Small stamp set, Hodgepodge Alphabet stamp set, Tiny Typewriter Alphabet stamp set, Dimensional Elements Framed Fun, inks (Sorbet, Sweet Leaf, Crystal Blue), Tiny Tabs, silver brads, and Sweet Leaf Ribbon Rounds Collection.
These cards and pages were made using the Caboodle Workshop on the Go kit. These kits are so fun to do! You can chose to make the cards or the scrapbook layouts or both! To make both you may need to add additional cardstock. For this kit specifically, I added 4 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper for my card bases. With the 4 extra sheets and by substituting some of the papers within the kit I was able to make 4 scrapbook pages and 12 cards using the workshop guide and I had paper left over! The kit is designed to make two 2-page layouts but made mine into four 1-page layouts. Check back later today for another post where I will show you what I have created with the rest of the Caboodle Paper Pack in the CTMH New Product Blog Hop!
I will be hosting this workshop in February. If you are local and would like to participate you can contact me through the About Me link on the top of this page. If you are not local, you can still contact me to purchase the kit.
I am now at 9 of 210 completed layouts for the year.

This card may have turned out even better than planned. I really like it but I wanted to do the stitching in white. The only white thread I had was too thick to fit through the needle on my machine so this was my next choice. Funny thing is this is the only time I ever sew! The one exception would be girl scout patches and last year I found it easier to hot glue them on. It was the only thing I found to work and I tried everything! Anyway, back to my card…I used my glitter mist again (fun!), just for the letter K. The butterflies came with glitter on them already. I also folded the wings of the butterflies for an even more 3D look which really adds to the card. They were easy to fold once I attached the pearls.
Products used: Making Memories paper, Bo Bunny paper, Basic Grey Opaline pearls, Basic Grey chipboard monogram letter, Tattered Angels Pink Bubblegum glitter mist, and Making Memories glitter butterflies.
Challenges:
Midnight Madness #16 – sketch
Paper Cutz Challenge #5 – something that flies
FTTC30 – use pearls

I decided with the busy patterned paper on this card that I didn’t need any embellishments. I’m glad to have a masculine card done. This was the first time I have used glitter mist and what fun!! The color I used was not near as bright as I expected but I like how fast it dries. I definately need to experiment more!
Products used: CTMH Good Times paper and Chocolate cardstock, Basic Grey chipboard monogram, Tattered Angels blue skies glitter mist.
Challenges:
Midnight Madness Week #15 – sketch
365 Cards Day 177 – Monogram Monday
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge – turquoise & brown
GCA #55 – Bring on the Glitz!

Well, it’s a new week and I haven’t had much time to scrapbook so I’ll give you another review since it’s been awhile. Pictured above is the Magnetic Precision Mat by Basic Grey. I purchased mine at Hobby Lobby with a coupon. The package will include the mat, a magnetic metal ruler and eight small magnets. You can use the small magnets to position things on your page before adhering them. Liquid glass (from CTMH) is my favorite adhesive for chipboard and I love using this mat to hold the chipboard in place while it dries. The magnets are very strong. It has a 12×12 grid printed on the mat which is great for positioning things and to use in combination with the ruler when aligning pieces across a page. I consider this a basic tool that I use every time I scrapbook.
