February SOTM – Here’s the Story Blog Hop

Welcome to our Here’s the Story Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring the February SOTM . If you have come here from My Heartfelt Sentiments, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

Products used are all Close to My Heart: Here’s the Story stamp set (February 2022 SOTM), Love Story – Toffee, Toffee Ink, Scarlet Ink, Scarlet Cardstock, Peach Cardstock, Toffee Cardstock, Papaya Cardstock, Desert Rose Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, Gold Glitter Paper (expected back in stock sometime in February), Peach Shimmer Brush, Mini Greetings-Hello stamp set, Mini Greetings-Congrats stamp set, Black & White Dots, Wood Hearts, Gold Glitter Gems, Gold Embossing Thread, and Cards & Envelopes.

When I first saw this stamp set, I planned to use it for scrapbooking. Then, the Love Story Workshop Wow came out and I knew it was the perfect way to use the frame stamp that I love so much. You can also use some of the sentiments for cards. I like the “cherished moments in time” for wedding or anniversary cards!

TIPS:

*The sentiments from the Mini Greetings stamp sets are a great fit in these frames.
*A color wash can be added behind the sentiment using watercolor paints or shimmer brushes.
*Change up a card pattern by flipping papers, moving the frame, or using different stamps and embellishments!
*Look at the Home card as an example of how you can cut the frame for a different shape. Or you could also cut this and add on top of the frame for added dimension.
