Everything ABC’s Blog Hop (Letter D)
Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!  For this hop we will be featuring the letter D. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “D” element will be featured in their post.

For my “D” I chose DANCE and DISPLAY TRAY.  I have been putting this project off for way too long.  In fact, I think I was going to do it for the letter D blog hop last year!  It came together very quickly.  I used a combination of dance pictures (professional ones, personal ones, and some cut from Memory Mates).  My original plan was to use Mod Podge for adhering everything but I decided to just go with glue dots instead.  It was much faster, less messy, and I plan to store it in an enclosed cabinet so it shouldn’t get too dusty.  I think a key to making these display trays really stand out is to add embellishments to the top layer of the tray to make it more 3-dimensional.  I was happy that I had the pin to add to the corner as well.  The dance title on the bottom would have hung off the edge except that I plan to stand the tray up instead of hanging it (good thing I put this all together before I stuck on that title piece!).
