February 2015 CTMH SOTM Blog Hop – A Happy Hello

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring the February SOTM, which is A Happy Hello, a set of 15 stamps.

Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Snowhaven Paper Packet, Honeycomb Embossing Folder, A Happy Hello Stamp Set, Inks (Cranberry, Glacier, and Whisper), Heartstrings Complements, Marvy Uchida LePen Journaling Pen, 3-D Foam Tape, Sparkles Clear Flourishes – Small, and Junebug Puffies.

One of the great things about acrylic stamps is the ability to “shape” them in new ways as you can see from my scalloped border.  I stretched out the stamp before attaching it to my acrylic block to create the elongated shape that I wanted.  I also cut the teardrop puffy shape to create the circles used in the center of some of the flowers.  This layout involved a lot of fussy-cutting but I don’t mind that.
