This month for our Use Your Stash Blog Hop we are using Zip Strips. These are the 1/2-inch strips that you cut off the top of the B&T Duos (patterned papers). I love that CTMH has added this to their papers because Zip Strips are great! Hop through to find a variety of uses for them!
This hop is a circle; if you have just started simply continue until you make your way back here; if you have already started, you should be coming from Janet McCormick.
Supplies used: Skylark Paper Packet, Cardstock (Sweet Leaf & Chocolate), Cocoa ink, Quantrefoil Embossing Folder, and Colonial White Cards & Envelopes.
It’s hard to see from the picture but this card starts with a Colonial White base and the Chocolate Cardstock is matted onto that. I used zip strips to make the layered flower (which I inked to add a bit more dimension) and I also used a zip strip for the sentiment on this card. All strips are from Skylark. I really didn’t want to add any more bulk to the flower so I cut a thin strip of cardstock and used that in the center of the button. Enjoy the hop!
Now hop on over to Katy Donaldson Taylor!
