October 2012 Technique Blog Hop – Rock ‘n’ Roll Stamping

Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop!  This month we are highlighting the Rock ‘n’ Roll Stamping Technique as shown on page 31 in the Autumn/Winter 2012 Idea Book.  This is an oldie but a goodie!

This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.  So if you are starting here, just continue until you make your way back.  If you have already started, you should be coming from Kindred Heart’s Blog.

Supplies used: Die Cuts With a View Just Dreamy Stack, Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste Collection Kudos stamp set, and Close to My Heart Red Glitter Glitz.

My rock n roll stamping technique is used for the circle border along the center of the page.  I first inked the image in Cranberry, then rolled in Outdoor Denim before stamping.  The glitter glitz was used to create the dots and the border, how cool is that!

I used this sketch from Sketches in Thyme:

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto Judy Faye Garner’s Blog where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!
