Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop!  This month we are highlighting stitching in our artwork – be it real stitches or faux stitching, using Thin Cuts, stamp images, etc. . This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.  If you are coming from Debi McBain’s Blog, you are on the right track!

I used the Stitched Borders stamp set to create the background for this card. It was a great way to add color and originality. I also layered the ribbon and shimmer trim for a bit more pop.

Supplies used are all Closet to My Heart: Stitched Borders stamp set, Your Special Day stamp set, Inks (Clover, Raspberry, Bluebird, Nectarine), Gold Shimmer Trim, White & Gold Ribbon, White Daisy Cards & Envelopes.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto Michelle John’s Blog where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!
