Come back on January 3 for a Cloud Nine Blog Hop where you can see more uses for this card kit than just making the specifically designed cards!

This was a very quick and easy card kit!  Below are the pics of the cards as I made them, most are the same as the kit specifies.  Note that there are both gold and silver Durables Triangle Studs.  I didn’t realize this until I was working on the last card and I needed more gold.  On some cards it doesn’t matter but if if there is Washi Tape used on the card you are going to want to use the gold studs.

I changed this to a Happy Birthday card since I use so many of those.  I was lazy and didn’t want to mask the Happy Birthday stamp so I tried using a sponge dauber to ink the stamp.  It worked for the most part but I had a couple smudges around the edge…thus my added swirls that I made with a marker to camouflage my flaw.

Both times when I stamped the mustache I thought I was “off” and it turned out perfectly.  Focus on lining up the center when you stamp this one.  Also, if you want this to look exactly like the picture, you will need to attach the Washi Tape first and layer the B&T Paper overtop.  I just centered my B&T Paper and lined up the Washi Tape along the top and bottom so you can see the difference in my picture.

A note on this one: for the big heart you only need to get good ink coverage around the edge because the center of the heart will be covered.  And make sure you stamp the smaller heart and sponge the larger one so they layer correctly.

**As a last note, when using the stamp set with the Artiste Cricut cartridge for future projects, you need to use Real Dial Size.

D1527 Perfect Fit – Frames

This stamp set coordinates with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, which makes it so easy to cut and stamp.  What a perfect way to make tags for Christmas, birthdays, or any other occasion!  These were so quick and easy to make!  I stamped most of them with one color but you could use the rock n’ roll technique like I did on the pink/purple circle or add multiple colors with a sponge dauber.  You can add a small sentiment to the center, a to/from, or just the name of the person receiving the gift.  I used the Salutation Seals and Casual Expressions stamp sets.  You could also use these as embellishments on a page or other project.  You can rotate two of the frames for a total of 6 different looks.  Just stamp and leave as is or add pearls, sparkles, ribbon, and other accessories to add more details.

Some of the things I used to embellish:
Glitter Glitz Gel
Durable Studs
Boutique Assortment
Mini-Medley Accents
Just Blooms

Below are my layouts and notes on anything I changed.  I did not order the workshop kit on this one.  I just ordered the paper pack and used my own supplies to create the layouts.  One note if you do this is that you will most likely need extra cardstock (note that all the workshops come with extra neutral cardstock).

(I’m not quite done with the first layout.  I will post when it’s finished.)

I switched up the papers on this one and I used the grey as the background for the second page and cut the striped paper at 1 1/2″ x 12″ (this also saves on paper).  I rotated the second page to fit my photos.  I used the Typeset stamp set which is retired but if you are one of my club members you most likely have this one in your stash!  Notice that I staggered the letters of Brave in my title.  This is a great option if you need to shorten your title or have a hard time lining the letters up straight.  I did use black hemp…so glad to wrap it around the page and almost have it all used up.  It was difficult to make a bow look right so I just did a knot.  I prefer waxy flax.  I used the square studs instead of the round.  Other options would be black/grey sparkles, black assortment, or slate assortment.

The Victory Workshop Kit includes:
My Reflections Victory Paper Packet
My Acrylix Victory Workshop Stamp Set (stamp set is exclusive to this workshop kit)

Would you like to attend my Victory Workshop on May 18 ?  Order by April 13  to save on shipping.

As promised, here is the second layout from the Victory Workshop on the Go Kit.  I do not have the Varsity Alphabet yet so I used Homestead (retired) that I had in my stash.  I changed up the layout a little (including some extra flourishes because I dropped it on my layout!)  With the upcoming Easter weekend, I won’t get the bonus project (cards) posted until next week.
