Beginning to finish…
Supplies used: Diecuts With a View paper, Close to My Heart Big Pinks Flower, and Bazzill Really Big Brad.
Layout Challenge #72 of 210.
The October Challenge at Scrap Our Stash is to do that project that you have been putting off. I have a HUGE stack of layouts that are started and not finished. This is the start of that pile. They should all come together quickly and it will be a great accomplishment when I am finished, hopefully adding a lot to my yearly page goal.
Taylored Expressions Challenge Card
Products used: KI Memories paper, CTMH Sparkles, CTMH Life’s Creations stamp set, CTMH Noteworthy stamp set, and unknown flower.
I based this card on the sketch from the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #96. I’m not sure I like it but it’s different.
Fun Card
This card was inspired by the sketch challenge at 2 Sketches 4 You. My daughter picked out the “FUN” embellishment (Miss Elizabeth’s) and we went from there. I used CTMH’s Playful Flourishes stamp set for the background (this is one of my favorites). The ribbon and cardstock are from my stash.
Overlays = Quick, Easy Layouts
Overylays may be expensive but they can make for a quick layout and the cost can average out for your page by not adding so many more embellishments. This ballet page is the perfect example. Supplies include pink paper, dance overlay, handmade paperclip, and my photo. The overlay is overtop of the entire page. I cut a slit in it to add the paper clip.
