Scrap Our Stash Sketch #3

This month the Sketch with Stash Challenge #3 at Scrap Our Stash is to use this sketch and at least 3+ pre-made flowers from our stash.  This was an easy challenge for me because I LOVE both sketches and flowers!!

Princess Layout by Wendy Kessler

Supplies used: Stampin’ Up! Papers, American Crafts Elements Taffy Mini Jewel Brads, Making Memories Flower Metal Photo Corners, Studio 18 Gem Sticker, Prima Floral Embellishments, Bazzill Collection Cha Ching Brads, Recollections Boutique Fleur Floral Embellishments, Tattered Angels Pink Bubblegum Glimmer Mist, CTMH White Daisy Cardstock, and unknown felt flower ribbon.

This was one of those layouts that I didn’t like while I was doing it, not sure why.  When I left and came back to it, it didn’t seem so bad.  It won’t be a favorite but it passes for okay.

There is still time to submit your layout at Scrap Our Stash.  You have until May 29th.

SOS February Challenge – Anything Fuzzy

Birthday Layout by Wendy Kessler

Supplies used: CTMH Cruisin’ Workshop on the Go Kit (retired), and Letterman Thickers Flocked Chipboard Alphabet Stickers by American Crafts.

What a fun challenge we have over at Scrap our Stash for February – Anything Fuzzy!  I was surprised that it didn’t take much digging for me to find some things (brand new at that!) that fit this challenge.  I have been carrying this layout around in my to-do bag for a very long time so it is great to see it completed!  I also used 4×6 flip flaps to add more photos to my page at the upper right.

November 2012 CTMH Use Your Stash Blog Hop – All Scraps

WELCOME!  I’m so glad you are joining us for our “Use Your Stash Blog Hop”.  If you have already started, you should be coming from Joy’s Blog.  If this is your first stop, continue through until you make your way back here.  This month we are focusing on our scraps.  This is one of my favorite challenges because I love using things up.

Supplies used: Die Cuts with a View paper, Close to My Heart ribbons, Close to My Heart Just Blooms Flutter Paper Shapes, American Crafts Thickers, and Close to My Heart Opaque Mocha Adhesive Gems.

When I first think of “use up scraps” I think of paper.  But for this hop I decided to do something different and use up some embellishments, specifically scraps of ribbon.  I really like using paper like this that already has a pattern on it.  It makes for a quick and easy layout.  I also like adding embellishments to the base like the pearls I added to the flower centers along the bottom.

I used the sketch below from The Scrapbook Room.  This would also work great to use up scraps of paper.

Now hop on over to Judy’s Blog for more ideas on using up your stash.
