These stenciled birthday cards are so fun and everyone needs more birthday cards. They are created from the It’s Your Birthday cardmaking workshop, one of four amazing card workshops as part of the Say It With Style NSM Special. With this workshop, you can make four of each card. I’ll show you below the original card first and then how it can look by just changing up the colors!
For a brighter version of this card, I chose Lemonade and Capri colors.
On my second “It’s Your Birthday” card the letters are colored with a shimmer brush. This look can be achieved in the same way as with the watercolor brush on the first card. Just brush to the top of the letter.
I swiped and colored with shimmer brushes. Inks on the second card are Royal and Wisteria.
This is a bonus card (using the negative space created when cutting the circles for the earlier slimline card). I think this is my favorite card in the set. I love the details of the stamping and coloring and there’s really no need for other embellishments which keeps the card flat for easy mailing.
