Stencil Storage & Organization
I have been thinking about how I want to store and organize my stencils and this is what I have come up with. I have the card front stencils in a 6×6 Everyday Life Album. The full page (12×12) stencils are in a 12×12 Everyday Life album and the slimline card front stencils are in this album as well, stored in 8 1/2 x 11 Memory Protectors. I wanted them in the same color…Julep and Green Apple was as close as I could get for now. I used Avery labels (handwritten) in the corners so I know the names of the stencils for future reference. As you can see, I took the time to ink onto a piece of White Daisy cardstock behind each stencil. This took me about an entire day to ink all of them and it was a messy job! You would not need to do this but I am glad I did because it shows what they look like better and I can see at a quick glance. I also like looking through and seeing different colors. It will also give you lots of practice using the stencils.
Once I was finished, I used Heat Transfer Vinyl and my Cricut Heat Press to add lettering and labeled each of the books. I am thrilled with how they turned out! HTV 300° for 15 seconds. No preheat.
