Back 2 School

Buttons and brads are unknown, all other supplies are CTMH: Building Blocks Level 1 paper pack, Cranberry marker/ink, and Friendship stamp set.

Sonata layout

Supplies used: Chipboard letters by Provo Craft, Stand-Outs by Provo Craft, Sonata patterned paper by CTMH, and Hollyhock, Buttercup, and Chocolate cardstock by CTMH.  Layout inspired by CTMH Cherish book.

Card Kits

These card kits by CTMH are so great!  They are quick and easy to put together.  It’s the perfect thing to do when I’m not feeling creative or need something to grab when scrapbooking away from home.  You can make the cards as they are designed or you can mix it up and make your own.  Pictured above is the My Originals From the Heart Card Kit.  I added cocoa ribbon and used some pop dots.  The kits come with enough supplies to make 12 cards, including the envelopes, and they are very reasonably priced.

Here’s another kit: Snowflakes (retired).  I added silver eyelets, liquid glass, and prisma glitter to my cards.

Distressing Chipboard – Play

Sanding chipboard is a fun, easy, and fool-proof technique.  These chipboard letters by Pressed Petals came pre-colored and included a sanding stick.  All I had to do was rub the stick back and forth around the edges of the letters to remove some of the pink color and reveal the white.  It’s a nice distressed look.

Supplies used: CTMH Whoops-A-Daisy paper, CTMH White Daisy, and cardstock, Pressed Petals Chip Chatter letters (sanded), garage sale flowers, EK Success fasteners, and gemstone brads from the Target Dollar Spot.  Layouts inspired by sketches from Cherish by CTMH.
