Supplies used: KI Memories Surprise Collection paper, Making Memories chipboard flower, Fiskars border punch, Provo Craft alpha rubons, and K&Company adhesive chipboard.
This was my layout from the March Challenge at Scrap Our Stash that I forgot to post. The challenge was “Spring Cleaning” – meaning dig something out from your stash, dust it off, and use it! I pulled out all the stops with this layout. Everything I used is old, old, old and I literally had to dust off my border punch! I used a sketch from My Little Sketch Book. I just love sketches! I’ve found some great sites lately and plan to use them more. They make scrapbooking so quick and easy!

Supplies used: DCWV The Glitter Stack papers, Recollections Glitter Adhesive Borders, PC Stand-Outs, Heidi Swapp rubons, Me & My Big Ideas chipboard stickers, and misc buttons and dew drops from my stash. I used a Sketch Inspiration Sketch.
The Monthly Challenge on Scrap Our Stash for April is “Bring in the Sun”. I don’t know why this was so hard for me but I am very happy with the outcome. First, I was stumped for what I was going to do. I looked through my stash and didn’t have “sun” anything. Then I found swim pictures and thought I would focus on the color yellow (one that doesn’t make it into many of my layouts). Then, I added my own little mini challenge to not use pink.
In the end, I love the layout. I think because it is so different and that will make a nice addition to my books. Go over to Scrap Our Stash and join the challenge!

All supplies are by Close to My Heart except the rubon letters which are by Making Memories. This is one of the layouts from the Magnifique Workshop Kit. (no longer available).

This is my DT layout for Crop Chocolate. I’ve used a kit by Fancy Pants as well as some flowers by Making Memories. The layer of flowers is a transparency sheet. The pictures and all the embellishments are on top of this. I attached it to the patterned paper by poking brads through the flowers, transparency, and paper and I also added a few dots of adhesive under the flowers and my photos (places where it won’t show through).

Scrap Our Stash Monthly Challenge: Do a Birthday Project
Layout Challenge: #124 & 125 of 210 (due to the amount of time and effort involved in this layout and the extended flaps, I am giving myself credit for 2 layouts!)
2009 was quite the winter with more than normal days home from school due to the weather. The weather also made it difficult for our family to get together for the holidays and birthdays. So when the time came it was one big party!
For this layout I knew what I wanted to do but it involved a lot of thinking and planning to actually get it done. These new Flip Flaps from Close to My Heart come in a variety pack of different sizes (these are the two larger ones) and allowed me to expand my layout and add many more photos. First, I chose papers that I could use as both a Christmas and Birthday themed page. Next I laid out the pages and protectors I planned to use. This allowed me to arrange the photos on my spread. This was the hardest part. I didn’t do much for paper layering because of the planning involved so the rest of the assembly was just pictures and embellishments. On the birthday section, I cut out one of the stars from the pattern paper so it would overlap my photo and become an embellishment for my page, then added star gems to the centers.
