Altered Coasters, Photo Frames

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Products used: Coasters, Making Memories Simply Stated Expressions rubons, American Crafts MiniMarks rubons, Kelly Panacci rubons, and Heidi Swapp rubons.

For some reason, lighting or their shiny surface, these did not photograph very well but it gives you the general idea.  I found this coaster set at Target for a Christmas gift.  After adding the pictures I just thought they looked PLAIN.  So…I made them my own by adding rubons to them.  I am pleased with them and I hope the recipient enjoys them as well.

All Girl Scrapbook Layout

Products used: My Mind’s Eye Bohemia Transfer Title, Stampin’ Up! grosgrain ribbon, Say It In Crystals by Prima, Deja Views Die-cut paper, background paper unknown, and quote from unknown book.

This was a very different layout for me inspired by Scrap Sketch #187.  I like the variety that it will add to the pages in my scrapbook.

Glittery Flower Card with Ricrac

IMG_2656

Products used: DCWV The Spring II Mat Stacks, K&Company Rub-on Magic, CTMH Liquid Glass, CTMH White Daisy Ricrac, unknown snaps and vellum Thank You sticker.

I started off using the Sunday sketch at 365 cards and this is what I ended up with.  I wanted stitching around the edges but didn’t have the right thread.  Then I started handstitching and that was just too much work!  So I ended up with piercing around the border and snaps in the corners (to cover up where I started stitching. :-)   I was originally thinking to use pop dots on the flowers but the liquid glass added the dimension that I wanted.
