These cards were made from the Close to My Heart Sweetheart Workshop. (please ignore the yellow in my photos, must be something with the lighting) to attend my workshop on March 11, 2011 or order the kit to create it on your own. They make great cards for anniversaries, weddings, baby, or birthday. I love the use of Liquid Applique! It’s definitely got me thinking of ways to use it more!

…we all scream for ice cream! I didn’t have a diecut or any kind of ice cream stamps so I had to improvize for this card. Sometimes that works and other times it doesn’t. This was one of those time when what I thought in my head was actually how it turned out! I distressed the edges of the blue with my CTMH Distresser. I used Liquid Applique to add dimension to the ice cream and embossed and sanded the lines on the cone. The blue button was a bit bright and took away from the ice cream cone so I added a yellow button sticker to the top to tone it down.
Products used: KI Memories paper, Basic Grey pearls, Liquid Applique, Funky Flower stickers by Pebbles, Inc. (button sticker), unknown ribbon and button.

I have been struggling with these cards the last couple days. I had the bases but didn’t know where to go next. Then, I ran across this challenge at Crafty Creations and the perfect stamp set came to mind! Here is the result (click on the picture to see details):
Products used: CTMH Tinkerin’ Paper Packet, Making Memory brads, and CTMH Enjoy the Journey stamp set. Additional details to the train were added with CTMH Sparkles, teenie-tiny eyelets (unknown), and Marvy’s Liquid Applique.
