I just LOVE this stamp set! The first thing that came to mind was to use it for anniversary cards because I make quite a few of those each year but I haven’t made it that far yet. Right now I am focusing on my layouts so that’s what I created. I made a heart border along the bottom of my page. My decorative hearts are dimensional elements sponged with pink ink and then I used the heart stamp on top in chocolate ink to create a pattern. I stamped the title 3 times to make the image darker and stand out on the patterned paper. I really struggled with the embellishments for this page, not sure why. In the end, I’m not in love with it but satisfied. I took that last picture as a closeup of the title area on my layout but after uploading it I can see that it would make a great card so there’s another idea for you!
Now hop on over to Wendy Fording’s Blog for your next stop!

Products used: Prima Say it in Crystals, Queen & Co. Felt Fusion, Darice rhinestones, Kaisercraft rhinestones, Miss Elizabeth vellum sticker, Heidi Grace patterned paper, CTMH cardstock, and unknown letter buttons. Based on a sketch from ScrapSketch. Layout Challenge: #24 of 210.
This month I am a guest designer at Scrap Our Stash. The March challenge is to combine the old with the new. That was the inspiration for this layout. I pulled the paper out of my “old” collection and I have had those letters forever and just haven’t gotten around to using them. The vellum sticker quote was also from my old stash. The felt border and bling are both new favorites. I used Bazzill Basics scalloped circle and traced it on the back of my pattern paper and cut out for my own diecut piece. I also added the rhinestones to the felt flower border. Be sure to check out the Scrap Our Stash Challenge! I’d love to see your new/old combinations!

ScrapSketch is back up and running! I am so excited! These are the first 2 sketches for January and my layouts:

Products used: CTMH Stardust paper, CTMH Stardust Stickease, Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge, Accents Essentials Cricut cartridge, Queen & Co. felt fusion, and Kaisercraft rhinestones.
2010 Layout Challenge: #14 of 210

Products used: DCWV Luxury Stack, Disney Jolee’s boutique by EK Success, Cricut Mini Monograms cartridge, Sandylion vellum Disney stickers, Kaisercraft Pearl Strips (pink), and unknown 3D butterflies/flowers and organdy ribbon.
I am very pleased with this layout. I used the Diecuts with a View paper from a stack that I bought online and I didn’t like it as well when I got it so it became buried in my stash. It was the perfect colors for these layouts and I don’t think I noticed before that it had a sheen shine that is very pretty. The pearls I used come in strips and I used them to create my own flourishes and used the remaining pearls as centers for the flowers. I’ll have a layout tomorrow using ScrapSketch #3.
