Adventure Layout

Christine thought it was neat that Miranda fit on her American Girl scooter.  It was a fun ride.  This layout was from a Close to My Heart consultant swap but it doesn’t have a name so I don’t know who to give the credit to.

CTMH Spotlight Blog Hop – Circle Cards

This month we are spotlight Close to My Heart Circle Cards.  They come in White Daisy and Colonial White.  You can also get scalloped circle card along with squares in the Clear Card Pack.

The hop is a circle.  If  you have starting here, continue until you make your way back and you will have seen all the artwork.  If you are coming from Diana’s Blog you are on the right path.

I made these cards with the same design from Wishes just using different products.  I always think it’s fun to see how the same pattern can produce such different results.

Male Birthday Card:
Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Good Times paper (retired), Shimmer Designer Brads, Glitz Glitter Gel – Bronze, Designer Ribbon Rounds Chocolate Collection, and Happy Birthday stamp set (retired).  Simply Secure design from Wishes.

Christmas Card:
Supplies used are all CTMH: Deck the Halls paper and My Stickease, Cranberry Concho, and Cranberry eyelets (all these products are retired).

Your next stop is Mary’s Blog!

If you get lost along the way, you can go here for a complete list of blog hop participants.

Love Layout

Supplies used: unknown pattern paper, Technique Tuesday scalloped baseboards, layered title by Colorbok, Making Memories Rose Petal Paint, Making Memories Rose Petal Specialty Glaze, CTMH Sparkles, Making Memories flowers, unknown ricrac, and eyelets.  Based on a Becky Fleck January 2011 Page Map sketch.  Scrap Our Stash February Challenge.

The February Challenge at Scrap Our Stash this month is LOVE.  I really dug into my stash for this layout.  I think the patterned paper may have been from the Target Dollar Spot at least a year ago, the scalloped baseboards are from when a local scrapbook store closed years ago, and the eyelets and brads are even older.   The ricrac is from a bag I found at a rummage sale!  I am not one for empty space on a layout or just plain cardstock so I filled the white cardstock space with heart-shaped eyelets to create my own patterned paper.  I painted the chipboard border with a pink base topped with a coat of specialty glaze.
