I stamped the flower with Versamark ink and then rubbed chalk over the top with an applicator. It is so much fun to see the color appear! I finished the stamped image and really liked it but the paper I had picked out for it just didn’t look right so it took me awhile before I ran across this paper. It’s very different colors than what I was looking for but I love them! I liked the ribbon for this card and added multiple layers for a more solid look. The stamp I used is from a set that I just had to have. It was fun to finally use it!

Do you know how hard it is to make a card with no embellishments? Well, actually it’s quite quick and simple but it’s so much more fun to add dimension and sparkle! Plus all the white space, oh my! But I have to say it works! The no embellishment challenge from ABC and the sketch from Clean and Simple worked beautifully together this week. I may use this again with other variations. It’s a nice flat card that that will mail nicely and it was very quick and easy to make. The colors were also a first for me from the Cute Card Thursday, combining teal and red. Again, I like it and something I wouldn’t normally put together!
