One of my goals this month was to use up the Close to My Heart Sophia Paper Packet.  It was a bunch of scraps so I thought I’d make a bunch of cards.  This just proves how far scraps can go!  I made about 40 cards so I will be spreading out the pics over the next few days.  First, I put all the papers/scraps on the cards.  Then I went through my embellishments, found some that matched and added them to the cards.  I really can’t say that these are my favorites but in the end I used up a paper pack and dug into my stash for embellishments that I have had for a very long time.

Here’s my final journal from last week and until the next birthday invitation comes along.  I used a bunch of retired Close to My Heart items to create the background paper (Doodle Art stamp set, and Watermelon, Orange, Sunny Yellow, Citrus Leave, Ocean, and Hydrangea ink colors).  I finished it off with a Soft Spoken 3D sticker embellishment by Me & My Big Ideas.

This is a very simple layout that I’ve had from way back when.  The doghouse is Jolee’s, the paper is old Close to My Heart, and the alphabet stickers are unknown from the bottom of my stash!

E1015 Cocktail Alphabet

Supplies used: Unknown papers, CTMH Cocktail Alphabet, La Petites 3D Stickers by Paper Studio, and CTMH Designer Ribbon Rounds Chocolate.

This is a fun, whimsical alphabet that comes in a large envelope and has both uppercase and lowercase letters as well as some punctuation.  For those of you who don’t mind cutting, I really like stamping my letters and cutting them out as I did for this layout.  I wasn’t sure how I was going to place the letters and this allowed me to move them around until I was satisfied with their placement around the circle photo.
