Sea Life at Legoland, California

Supplies (all CTMH unless otherwise noted): Tinkerin’ paper, Rustic Alphabet stamp set, inks, badge buttons, Liquid Glass, Imagine, and unknown ribbon.

I added Liquid Glass to the top of my stamped letters for the title.  It was a good choice for a wet/water theme.

Decorate those jars!

Closeup of the plastic jars on top, check out that sparkle!

Here’s another shelf I have that I recently reorganized:
Closeup of the decorated jars:

Well, I guess this is what you do when you have an overabundance of supplies….  I have wanted to do this for a long time and finally got around to decorating these cute plastic jars by Making Memories.  They would also be great for decorating and adding candy for a nice little gift.  The first shelf is Making Memories as well and is one of my favorite purchases from Crop Chocolate.  I love the spots for photos on the drawers.  It adds a personal feel.  You could also use these to add a label of what’s inside the drawer.  The second shelf was a great rummage sale find.  I just love to have things look so pretty in my creative space.  It is much more inspiring!

February 2010 CTMH Product Spotlight Blog Hop

Welcome to another Close to My Heart Product Spotlight Blog Hop!  This month we are spotlighting the stamp set D1346 – You Rock.

Products used are all CTMH:
Originals Card Confidence Program
Floral Tapestry Paper Packet (sorry I think this one is retired but it’s a great use if you have it!)
You Rock stamp set
Olive and Twilight inks
sponge dauber

This is my attempt at a masculine card.  I used bitty brads on the guitar and I can’t decide if that was a good idea or not but I just couldn’t leave it along without adding some embellishments.  It may be hard to see from the photo but I made the guitar two-tone by inking my stamp first with olive ink and then adding some twilight with the sponge dauber.  I distressed the sentiment square with the edge of my scissors.  I used one of the stamps to create a pattern on the green paper and inked around the edges of the card with twilight.

Now visit Helen’s Blog next to continue your journey on our blog hop!
