Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring the October SOTM, Christmas Tunes.

If you have come here from Cat Nowak’s Blog , you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.  To visit each blog for some great ideas just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Christmas Tunes Stamp Set (October SOTM), New England Ivy Ink Pad, Gold Shimmer Brush, New England Ivy Cardstock, Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, Gold Glitter Paper, Gold Shimmer Trim, and Gold Glitter Gems.

The trees on this stamp set are not exact triangles so I cut into the words but I like it better that way. Our new double-sided cardstock is perfect for this card style because it gives the extra color with no added work as shown below. I used the Gold Shimmer Brush in multiple layers to accent the trees.

Now “Hop” on over to Michelle Stewart’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas!

I like the multiple trees! And… you solved my problem of how to cut out the trees nicely:)

I just LOVE the design of this card …..the great use of shades of the New England Ivy stock and I, too, like how the words are cut off a tad…very creative!

I like the concept of this card with the open front and the trees as the focal point. Nicely done.
