Welcome to this month’s CTMH Technique Blog Hop.  This month we will feature “Wacky for Watercolorâ€Â.  If you have already started the hop, you should be coming from Melissa Robinson.
Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Picture My Life Watercolor Cards – Clear, Watercolor Paints, Paintbrush Set, Rustic Home Ribbon Pack, and Cardstock (Poppy, Chocolate).
Watercolor can be a great way to create a beautiful yet simple card.  I used the Picture My Life Watercolor Cards to do just that.  I used a wide brush to apply paint back and forth over the card.  On the red one I wet my brush with color and added to the card.  For the green card I wet the enter PML card with water first, then applied color.  As it was drying I added more paint for a darker color.  Once the painting was finished, I dabbed the embossed image with a tissue to remove any paint sitting on the image.  You could also wait until it was dry and use a wet tissue for the same result.  To create the spots on the green card, I applied paint to my brush and then tapped it on my finger, allowing it to splatter into the card.
Now hop on over to Haley Dyer!
