Welcome to our National Stamping Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring the special for this month which is a card kit called Create Kindness.

If you have come here from Melinda’s Blog , you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.  To visit each blog for some great ideas just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

Your Kind Layout by Wendy KesslerSupplies used are all Close to My Heart: Create Kindness Stamp Sets (Smile, Beautiful), Adventure Fundamentals Paper Packet, White Daisy Cardstock, Coral Shimmer Trim, Picture My Life Overlays – White Frames, Archival Black Ink, and ShinHan Markers (Marigold, Vivid Green, Golden Yellow, Pastel Green, Carmine).

To make the frame, I cut my mat and simply went around the edges with strips of Coral Shimmer Trim.  The flower border is made using the Smile stamp for the Create Kindness Kit.  I cut a 1″ x 12″ strip of White Daisy and stamped only the flowers (letting the “smile” stamp onto a piece of scrap paper underneath (no masking required!).  For the title, I colored over the white border of the overlay with ShinHan markers, then backed it with the white cardstock stamped with the title.  I did try stamping directly on the transparency with Archival Ink.  It was slippery but worked until I tried drying it with the heat gun.  It can be done but it melts pretty easily.  It might work if you let it dry overnight.  Backing it with White Daisy Cardstock was a better option.
