Happy Birthday Layout by Wendy KesslerSupplies used are all Close to My Heart: Paper Fundamentals – Adventure, Glacier Extra Thick Twine, Inks (Pacifica, Honey, Cranberry, Pear, Lagoon, Reel Life stamp set, Dizzy Circles stamp set, Artiste Cricut Collection (and Birthday stamp set), Art Philosophy Cricut Collection.

Typically, for the Kissing Stamping Technique you would choose a solid stamp image and a background stamp.  I had a hard time finding a solid image so I took the balloon from the Artiste Birthday stamp set and stamped using the back side of it which gave me a solid image.  I kissed the balloon image with a spiral image from the Dizzy Circles stamp set which I inked in another (darker) color.  I used Liquid Glass to attach the Twine and Glue Dots with a little pop to give the balloons some dimension.

Try these different kissing methods:
* Ink first stamp in a lighter color and second stamp in a darker color, kiss together, then stamp onto paper (as shown on balloons above).
* Ink first stamp in a lighter color, stamp this off once onto a scrap paper.  Ink second stamp in same color, kiss together, stamp onto paper (as show on green balloon above).
* Stamp first image onto paper, overlap with a new image over top. You can do multiple layering with this option and can also overlap with words.

Now hop on over to Catherine Nowak!
