Sunburst Card by Wendy Kessler

Colored Flower Card by Wendy Kessler
Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Exotic Flower stamp set (Hostess Set), Shinhan Markers (a variety of colors), Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape, Cardstock (White Daisy, Cranberry, and Black), and Paper Fundamentals Adventure Assortment.

I chose to feature the Hostess Rewards Stamp Set, Exotic Flower.  This is an amazing stamp set and what a great deal for only $5 with this month’s special!  You can see how you can create many different styles with this one stamp.  It also makes a fun (and flat) card as long as you like coloring.  Bonus: Fits the 4.5 x 4.5 Envelopes that are on sale in the “while supplies last” section!  Another way to use this stamp is to cut out the flower portion as I did for the second card.

Now “Hop” on over to Melissa Robinson’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Don’t miss out on this great campaign, Shop now!

CTMH Technique Blog Hop – Simple Shadows

Welcome to this month’s CTMH Technique Blog Hop.  If you have already started the hop, you should be coming from Melissa Robinson.

Vacation Layout by Wendy KesslerSupplies used are all Close to My Heart: Seaside Paper Packet, Seaside Assortment, Cocoa Ink, Magic, and Urban Alphabet Stamp Set.

I created my shadow layering with stamping.  First, I stamped the letters on cardstock and cut them out.  Next I stamped directly on my background paper and positioned the cutout letters so they had a shadowed appearance.  This is way cool!  Click on the picture for a better view.

Now hop on over to Catherine Nowak!
