This hop is a circle; if you have just started simply continue until you make your way back here; if you have already started, you should be coming from Shirley Ross.

July 4 Layout by Wendy KesslerSupplies used are all Close to My Heart unless noted: Key to My Heart Paper Packet (retired), Juniper ink, Vogue Alphabet Stamp Set, Colonial White Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Washi Tape (retired), and Bazzill Really Big Brads.

If you’ve been using Close to My Heart for awhile, there is a good chance that you’ve accumulated one of these large rolls of Colonial White Grosgrain Ribbon along the way.  Of course, it will work with any ribbon. 🙂  This is a great way to use it up.  I just love making flowers using ribbon with this technique.  All you have to do is make a loop, attach it to a brad, and continue looping until you are finished.  I also used the ribbon for the number 4 in my title.  It’s a good thing we are using our stash for this because as I was looking for a letter set to stamp the title I found the Vogue Stamp Set and went  – wait a minute, that’s one I’ve been wanting!  Here I already had it and didn’t know so I better use it!!  And I do love it!

Now hop on over to Casandra Bennett!

You know, we are a small but mighty group of ladies. The talent among this hop is amazing. I love how you incorporated the ribbon into your title. And I love seeing your use of retired papers, too. Think I finally passed the rest of that kit along to a friend. It’s perfect with your pictures. Have a happy day. Feel better soon, Miss Wendy.
