Love Card by Wendy Kessler

Products used are all Close to My Heart: Family is Forever Stamp Set (September SOTM), Inks (Cranberry, Olive, and Chocolate), Olive Cardstock, Sponge Daubers, and Colonial White Cards and Envelopes.

I think the tree on this stamp set is so beautiful!  I first inked it in Chocolate Ink, then using a sponge dauber and Olive Ink, I applied green to the leaves and stamped.  Next, I stamped the tree in Cranberry Ink on a scrap paper, cut out the hearts, and attached to the tree with glue dots.  I stamped the word LOVE with Cranberry Ink and fussy cut.  Leaving a small outline around the hearts and the word gave it a little bit of a shadow when attached with glue dots and makes them appear 3D without the dimension.

Now “Hop” on over to Peachy Iris G. Lamb’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the consultants’ blogs to get some great crafting ideas! Remember, the Family is Forever Stamp Set is only available until September 31st!  When you place a $50 order from my website, you can get this stamp set at a discounted price of only $5!
