This month’s technique for our blog hop is Generation Stamping.  This is when you stamp your image more than once without reinking your stamp.  This gives a lighter color than the original and is a great effect.

If you’ve started the hop, you will be coming from Shirley, or you can start here and continue through until you make your way back.

Stamped Snowflake Card by Wendy Kessler

Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Snowflakes stamp set, White Daisy Cardstock, Ink (Outdoor Denim, Cotton Candy, Sky), and Stardust Glitter Glitz.

I will be completely honest, I had no idea what I was going to do for this hop.  I made myself sit down yesterday and do it.  I started with Pinterest for some ideas and surprisingly came up with nothing.  I knew at that point I was in trouble.  Then, I just started thinking about how I could make a simple card, something quick and easy to get my creativity flowing again.  Here it is the middle of July and I thought of snowflakes!  The result was a simple stamped card.  You could leave it as is without embellishing but I just had to add a bit of sparkle!

I hope you enjoy our stamping blog hop.  Tabbi is your next stop!

Love love the card. It is simple, but the generation stamping gives it dimension.
