I really like the sketches on this blog but haven’t gotten around to using any of them yet. They are having a giveaway HERE. I’m going to see how many layouts I can do this month with their sketches. I challenge you to do the same! I’ve been in card mode lately so maybe this is what I need to get some pages done again.

Do you know how hard it is to make a card with no embellishments? Well, actually it’s quite quick and simple but it’s so much more fun to add dimension and sparkle! Plus all the white space, oh my! But I have to say it works! The no embellishment challenge from ABC and the sketch from Clean and Simple worked beautifully together this week. I may use this again with other variations. It’s a nice flat card that that will mail nicely and it was very quick and easy to make. The colors were also a first for me from the Cute Card Thursday, combining teal and red. Again, I like it and something I wouldn’t normally put together!
